Landscape Photography and the Natural World

Landscape Photography and the Natural World

Are you looking for an evocative image for a book cover or publication? Then check out the gallery here and in 500px..

On a broader note, our natural environment has one major attraction for so many of us.  It just is.  No artifice or hidden agenda just fresh air and, hopefully, a boost for a flagging spirit.

All the commercial work I have done has much to interest me but being ‘out there’ literally adds that extra colour, warmth and life.   It is my way of avoiding the ‘all work and no play’ hazard that can trip all of us up!  Yes, it may still reqire the use of a camera but the end results serve a very different purpose – to shamelessly paraphrase an old beer advert, “the images reach places other images can’t reach” 😊

Ma Nature’s natural world is a real tonic – something I see as a wonderful paradox – ephemeral but constant.. Please do check out the galleries here 🙂

All in the Mind

Any emotive response to landscape photography, of course, highly subjective. Even so, to witness the natural world and immerse yourself into the landscape can often steer our minds away from a furious pace of living.   With a gentler pace comes respite and as a result, lower blood pressure!  To slow down to a gallop from time to time is never a bad idea!

There is so much to see and much of it costs nothing but a little of our time.

Landscape Photography – A Wider View

You can find a larger landscape photography portfolio here, on 500px should you wish to see more examples of how I see the Landscape…

I hope you enjoy how I view the natural world. Remember Wandering River and drop me a line should you need something inspirational to lift the atmosphere in an open space.
